VeriLook Embedded SDK

Embedded and mobile face identification

VeriLook Embedded facial identification technology is intended for mobile biometric systems developers and integrators. The technology assures simultaneous multiple face recognition and face matching in 1-to-1 and 1-to-many modes with PC-like reliability.

VeriLook Embedded is available as a software development kit that allows development of stand-alone or Web-based solutions for smartphones, tablets and other devices that are running Android OS.

Advantages of VeriLook Embedded

  • More than a million algorithm deployments worldwide.
  • PC-level recognition quality on mobile and embedded devices.
  • Compatibility and interoperability with VeriLook- and MegaMatcher-based products.
  • Live face detection prevents cheating with a photo in front of a camera.
  • Simultaneous multiple face processing in live video and still images.
  • Reasonable prices, flexible licensing and free customer support.

Technology and SDK

  • VeriLook Embedded algorithm features and capabilities. The algorithm is a port of VeriLook 5.1 PC-based algorithm for ARM-based processors. VeriLook Embedded provides the same quality of PC-based facial recognition on embedded and mobile devices. The algorithm implements advanced face localization, enrollment and matching using robust digital image processing algorithms. Read more
  • VeriLook Embedded SDK contents. The SDK is intended for biometric systems developers and integrators and allows rapid development of biometric applications for devices that are running Android OS. VeriLook Embedded SDK is able to capture images and video streams from cameras that are built-in in Android devices. Java programming samples and tutorials included. Read more
  • Recommendations and constraints for face recognition. VeriLook Embedded algorithm has certain requirements to the images, produced by cameras, lightning conditions, face posture and expression. Read more
  • System requirements. A Smartphone or tablet or other device that is running Android 2.2 (API 8) OS or newer. 1 GHz processor recommended for face processing in less than 1 second. Read more
  • Technical specifications. A VeriLook Embedded-based Java application processes a face image in less than 1 second and can use as little as 4 kilobytes for a face template in a database. Read more
  • Reliability tests. VeriLook Embedded has been tested with FRGC database. Experiment 1 and Experiment 2 were performed according to FRGC protocol. The reliability tests results correspond with the results of the PC-side VeriLook SDK engine. Read more
  • Download. VeriLook Embedded brochure and 30-day SDK Trial are available for downloading.

Licensing, prices and ordering

  • Licensing options. To develop a VeriLook Embedded based product, an integrator should obtain VeriLook Embedded SDK. A license for a VeriLook Embedded component is required for each device or computer that runs this component. Single computer licenses and enterprise licenses are available. Read more.
  • Prices. VeriLook Embedded SDK costs € 339. Prices for additional component installation licenses depend on type and quantity. Read more.
