The first release of MegaMatcher ID 2025.2 system version.

New features:

• New Face Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) Level 2 algorithm added. The PAD Level 2 algorithm is designed to enhance protection against presentation attacks by automatically distinguishing bona fide presentations from presentation attack instruments (PAIs) during face capture. The PAD Level 2 functionality has been independently evaluated in a controlled laboratory environment in accordance with ISO/IEC 30107-3 requirements.
• SDK specific:
  • Added manual frame feeding API and an Android tutorial showcasing it's usage.
  • Added Camera2 API to Android which is used by default.
  • Added functions for WSQ image acquisition.
  • Added automatic finger enrollment with duplicate checks to MMABIS.
  • Added Android finger remote verification tutorial.
• Web Service specific:
  • Added finger image import and finger image import from scanner images APIs together with finger remote verification.
  • Added new parameters which allow more in-depth customization: final image selection method, detection minimal and maximal inter ocular distance, stream minimal inter ocular distance, separate maximal roll, yaw and pitch for detection and tracking stages, allow face to disappear, token face background percentage, tracker redetection period, advanced liveness settings (image liveness input and output types and passive liveness required detection count).

Updates and improvements:

• SDK specific:
  • Added Image Resolution, Noise and Contrast warnings.
  • Tutorials updated to use native http libraries (recommended) instead of openapi generated .NET/Java MMID libraries.
  • More warnings are now returned even if ICAO is disabled.
• Web Service specific:
  • Optimized MMID Management performance with large databases.
  • Reorganized MMID Web Settings for a more intuitive layout as some warnings are now returned even if ICAO is disabled.
  • Added Noise and Contrast warnings.
  • Updated Grafana usage for MMID and System statistics for a more seamless and in-depth experience.

  • Added real-time feedback during contactless fingerprint capture.
  • Added tutorials and a function to build a template from multiple fingerprint scanner images.
  • Added contactless fingerprint export for enrollment into MegaMatcher ABIS.
• Web Service specific:
  • Added account management.
  • Added adjudication workflow for manual decisions on liveness and/or age checks.
  • Added Grafana integration and a dedicated Statistics tab to the Management Web.
  • Added optional OAuth authentication to the Management Service.

Updates and improvements:

• A number of performance improvements.
• Web Service specific:
  • Updated face templates for better cross matching with MegaMatcher ID SDK. It is recommended to use the free template reextractions for better accuracy with templates created with previous versions of MegaMatcher ID Web.
