Product description
KARMA is a Latent Fingerprint and criminal case management system. It has smartphone , digital camera and flatbed forensic scanner capture options.
KARMA is divided in Server, Station and Mobile.
KARMA-Server works as a plugin to any MegaMatcher based system. It uses WebServices that work as interface with the other solution components.
KARMA-Station is the main module, there you can capture images using many options as Digital Cameras, Forensic Flatbed Scanners and Smartphones. You can also rotate, zoom, enhance and manipulate images and minutiae to create templates.
KARMA-Mobile works as an accesory to the station it an take and send latent fingerprint hi-res pictures to the station using wifi connection. It is more practical in cases where the "forensic services vehicle" cannot reach.
The system is used by Yucatan State Police.
