Product description
Roll Call Biometric Authentication software is a biometric identity, attendance, and examination-monitoring platform designed for distributed public-sector operations. It supports government examinations, recruitment programs, institutional attendance, and secure monitoring workflows where many people must be verified and supervised across multiple rooms or centers.
The platform combines biometric verification, surveillance infrastructure, centralized monitoring, and planned AI-assisted video analytics. Its core workflows include face verification, fingerprint authentication, iris authentication, attendance tracking, mobile operator verification, reporting, and controlled examination-room monitoring.
In examination deployments, cameras are installed at each center to cover key operational areas. These usually include entry and exit points, control rooms, corridors, and classrooms. Classroom coverage is commonly planned at approximately one CCTV camera per 24 candidates. A typical center may use around 20–25 cameras, while larger projects scale across many centers and can involve thousands of camera installations.
The surveillance architecture is based on center-level capture and centralized monitoring. CCTV cameras are connected locally through DVR or NVR systems. Those DVR/NVR systems are then connected over the internet to a centralized Video Management Software platform. Live feeds from multiple centers can be monitored from a central command and control room, giving examination authorities a single operational view of distributed examination activity.
The system supports mixed hardware environments. Depending on infrastructure and procurement availability, deployments may include analog CCTV cameras, generally 3MP to 5MP, connected through DVR systems, as well as IP cameras connected through NVR systems. This allows the platform to be used in varied field conditions without depending on one camera brand or model.
The current operational model is live surveillance and monitoring. The planned development path is to convert raw CCTV and Android videography data into AI-assisted intelligence. Planned features include automatic face recognition, attendance marking based on face matching, detection of mobile phone use inside examination halls, crowd-density monitoring, suspicious-activity detection, cheating and malpractice alerts, cloud backup, and centralized storage.
For Android-based videography, the proposed workflow would process recorded videos to identify faces, match them with existing database records, create searchable appearance logs, store timestamps, attach GPS or location metadata, maintain a separate database of unidentified faces, and push alerts or analytics to a centralized dashboard.
Roll Call is suitable for institutions that need a practical field-deployable system for identity verification, attendance control, examination monitoring, and centralized supervision. Its strongest fit is in high-volume programs where the organization must coordinate surveillance devices, biometric records, operators, candidates, examination rooms, and post-event reporting across many locations.
