Processing video from a RTP stream

Postby tdh10 » Oct 29, 2018 03:45

I am working with a video call application which combines SIP and WebRTC calls into video conferences.
I need a service or api that will allow me to use facial recognition and verify the identity of people on particular calls.
The technology we"re using can establish RTP streams (H264 encoding), and I was wondering if the one of the Neurotechnology SDKs (Verilook?) would be able to accept this video stream.
The documentation mentions RTP/H264 support for IP cameras that support RTSP, but RTSP isn"t natively supported by our api.
Can anyone suggest how to proceed?

Hello,

our SDK supports IP cameras, that supports RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol):
Only RTP over UDP is supported.
VLC framework can be optionally used for reading video streams.
H.264/MPEG-4 AVC or Motion JPEG should be used for encoding the video stream.

If your camera does not satisfy these requirements then you need to make RTSP stream from your stream and then to use it.
