IBCurve device not detected on Ubuntu 64

Postby omarmercado8 » Sep 24, 2018 17:57

Hi,

I have installed the Neurotechnology SDK 10.0 trial version. I have a finger scanner device from IB Curve.
OS: Ubuntu 64

The device website has the drivers that I was able to install sucessfully and ran some examples.

But when I try to use neurotechnology Samples for Java im getting this error:

Plugin => /lib/NdmIntegratedBiometricsIBScanUltimate.so. Error => null
Core/ErrorSuppressed Error: -90 : No matching device is detected
External error: -202
at IBSU_GetDeviceDescription
--- End of external call stack ---

I have tried with the drivers included in the Neurotechnology SDK and the ones from the device without any luck.

The device works fine in windows 7.

Regards

Hello,

IB Curve scanner is not supported on 64bit Linux with our SDK. You can read more about it here:
https://www.neurotechnology.com/fingerp ... curve.html

A list of our supported scanners for Linux can be found here:
https://www.neurotechnology.com/cgi-bin ... ux_android

If you could retrieve fingerprint image using scanner manufacturer’s SDK, then you could use it with our SDK. Unfortunately, there's no other workarounds at this moment.

Let me know if you'll have any further questions or issues.
