SentiVeillance SDK 6.0 - Camera IP

Postby aeayala » Jul 10, 2018 13:04

Hello Martynas, I am testing the simple application of the example within the SDK, which contains the WachtList, and with the Web cameras it works very well, but with IP cameras I do not succeed in detecting the people that are on the list, it only works if the person stays a good time in front of the camera. But if the person passes in front of it does not get to take it. That would have to take into account in this type of cameras or what to configure them.

Thank you very much.

Hello Martynas, excuse me please, for the delay, thank you very much for your attention.

SDK revision number(can be found in SDK root directory, in Revision.txt file).
Product revision number: 176566

Have you modified our sample in any way?
What is done is an application similar to [SimpleSurveillanceSampleCS.exe], which has a list of people to be searched. This application is connected to an IP camera to perform the search. The problem that I found is that the person has to have a good time in front of her to be captured and validate whether or not she is on the wanted list. If I do it with a web camera, for example my notebook, the detection time is less.
The configuration of the camera is done by editing in configuration file [NdmMedia.ini], in which place the following information:
[Camera]
Url=rtsp://admin:admin@172.22.12.200:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1
; FileName=C:\test.avi ; Specify either Url or Filename, not both.
Id=Dalhua;
DisplayName=Dalhua ;
; UseDirectShow=False ; To disable DirectShow
; UseWindowsMediaFoundation=False ; To disable Windows Media Foundation
; PreferDirectShow=False ; To prefer DirectShow vs. Windows Media Foundation

Recording of the issue(with whole sample).
The problem is that with the IP camera I can not make a quick detection of the person to search.

Also original video that comes directly from camera.

What exact IP camera you are using?
Dahua
Tipo Dispositivo: IPC-HDBW5231E-Z
Versión de software2.460.0000.3.R, Build Date: 2017-01-05
Versión WEB3.2.1.413002
Versión ONVIF2.42
Núm. serie3D02853PAG00034

Excuse my English, I hope it was clear.

Hello Adrian,

Have you modified our sample in any way?
[color=#0000BF]What is done is an application similar to [SimpleSurveillanceSampleCS.exe], which has a list of people to be searched.

Similar is not identical. Please test with our unmodified "SDK\Bin\Win64_x64\SimpleSurveillanceSampleCS.exe" sample.

Recording of the issue(with whole sample).
Also original video that comes directly from camera.

We need those recordings so we could see the problem you are experiencing and test the same on our side.
