DactyScan26 from Green Bit is an optical USB 2.0 fingerprint scanner that is able to scan 2 fingerprints simultaneously. The scanner is certifed by FBI as PIV single finger capture device compliant with IAFIS IQS (Integrated AFIS Image Quality Specifications).

DactyScan26 combines large scanning area (1" x 1") with relatively compact general size. It is available as either a standard desktop unit or as OEM module for hardware integration.

The scanner is able to eliminate latent fingerprints.

Support modules for this scanner are included in MegaMatcher 4.3 SDK, MegaMatcher On Card 3.1 SDK, VeriFinger 6.5 SDK and Free Fingerprint Verification SDK. Note, that FFV SDK will allow to capture only single fingerprints using this scanner as it does not include fingerprint segmentation components.
